How to Back Off Electric Drum Brakes
Question:
Every illustration on adjusting drum brakes shows d same but backing off on d brakes is not as easy as ever one makes it seems. U can turn back on adjustment spring or something holds it from spinning

We actually have a video that demonstrates how to back off trailer brakes really well which I have attached for you to reference. If you jump to the 4:23 mark you can see how our installer both tightens and loosens the brakes. It can definitely be difficult in some circumstances, but if you were trying to see how it is done this video does a really good job at showing it (with the drum/hub assembly removed).
The brake assemblies in this video are parts # 23-27 and # 23-26 for 3,500 lb axles.
