Performance of Inno INH120 Tire Hold Bike Rack in Winter Weather

Question:

We live in MN and use a bike and bike rack all year round. In the past, we have had difficulty with a platform style bike rack due to corrosion affecting the adjustability of the rack. The aluminum construction of the INH120 suggests this won’t be a problem, but have you heard of any problems with weather affecting the rack? Does the warranty cover weather-related damage?

We have not heard of any corrosion issues with the Inno # INH120 Tire Hold Bike Rack. Given its aluminum construction, corrosion really shouldn't be a problem. Inno tells me that they will warranty corrosion that's due to normal usage. If the rack has been submerged in seawater for a month, no. Under normal usage, yes. I've linked you to a product description video that shows the features of the bike rack.

Unless you'll be using the rack every day, it's a good idea to remove the rack from the vehicle.
