How to Lift Tandem Axle Trailer
Question:
I need to ra use my tandem axle trailer a little. The existing equalizer are 7.75 inches center to center of left to right spring holes and 2 7/8 inches vertical. Do you have equalizer like these but are 4 inches vertical?

Unfortunately, there are no equalizers that are going to do that job without adding length- they are sized proportionally. Adding a longer and taller equalizer is going to throw off the geometry that keeps the springs level- in which case you'll have to shorten the springs up possibly and change the shackles.
Assuming that your axle is mounted over your leaf springs, I think the best way to accomplish a small lift of your trailers is with an Over/Under Conversion kit. If you have a 2-3/8" diameter axle you will use # K71-384-00 and you can use # K71-385-00 for a 3" diameter axle. This is going to be the most reliable way to give yourself the extra height you're looking for without changing much.
If you already have your axle under the springs, let me know and I can recommend a longer hanger kit.
