Furrion FOS48TAPK-BL Monitor Wont Turn On
Question:
I have had this unit for a couple of years and it has worked fine. Recently the monitor just went dead and has no power at all. I have tried the cigarette lighters with several vehicles with the vehicles running and the lights on with no luck. Since the warranty is out of date would you have any thoughts how to troubleshoot? Thanks

I do have an option for you but there would be no more troubleshooting steps for you as the monitor is no longer operable and will need to be replaced. I suspect that one of the solder contacts on the circuit board has failed so unless you are experienced with soldering circuit boards assuming that is in fact the issue then you will need to replace the system. The system will need to be replaced as the old style monitors are no longer available as they have been made discontinued by the manufacturer.
The Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera part # FOS43TASF is what you will need to get your backup/observation camera system working again. The mounting bracket for your old system can be reused but you need to swap out the camera because the new monitor and old camera are not compatible.
