Can all crossbar towers/feet Rhino, Yakima, Thule that slide into the retraxproxr trax be locked in so that the feet and crossbars cannot be slid out and stolen? If so how does the locking mechanism work? Will this fit a 2019 Toyota Tundra Crewmax with 5.5ft box?

While Retrax says their cover RetraxPRO XR will work with most, they can't confirm all Rhino, Yakima, and Thule accessories will fit. However Retrax does has a free resource on their site at Retrax.com, then the Install & Resources link at bottom will take you to a listing of compatible accessories.

The handle has a locking mechanism uses 2 points/"teeth" to grip into a metal track to keep it locked. This allows it to be locked at any position along the rail.

I contacted the manufacturer on your behalf. Either with the Trax Rail the RetraxPRO XR # RTT-80841 or without the Trax Rails, the RetraxPRO XR Hard Tonneau Cover w/ Trax Rails# RTT-80831 will fit your 2019 Tundra Crewmax with 5.5 foot box.
