How do I install a 5th wheel hitch on my Chevy Silverado 2002 ?

The first thing you need to install a fifth wheel hitch in the bed of your 2002 Chevy Silverado is a fifth wheel rail kit like the Curt # C16418-204 which attaches directly to the truck frame and provides a set of rails for a hitch to install in like the Curt Slider A20 part # C16541. Since it looks like you have a short bed truck I mentioned a slider hitch as you'll need additional clearance to make tight turns like what the slider allows.
