Can I Use an Offset Coupler in an 8 Foot Truck Bed?

I had a truck with a 6.5’ bed. I used a 8” offset coupler. Now that I have 8’ bed can I use the off set coupler if that’s all I have

Yes, you will be able to use an offset coupler like the B&W Extend-A-Goose # BWTEXA4200 on your 8ft long truck bed. We actually had someone recently who wanted to use their offset coupler in reverse so that it brought the trailer 10" closer to keep their trailer within the DOT length limits. B&W confirmed that it could be used in this manner if you needed to.
