The Curt Class III receiver hitch part # C13149 for the 2015 Rav4 requires a simple installation that does not require drilling. It does require a small amount of panel trimming for install. I have attached an installation video for your reference.

The trailer wiring I recommend is T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118578 because the Tekonsha brand converter box are reliable and known to last. The wiring harness plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness located inside the trunk behind the tail lights. It is a pretty simple install, I have attached an installation video for you. The prices of these products are on the product pages if you follow the linked part numbers.

f you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. If you are not sure what size ball or ball mount rise/drop you need this kit has your bases covered.
