Curt Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 1997 Chevy Camaro
Question:
I was looking at the curt trailer hitch model 11117 that is made for a 1997 Chevrolet Camaro. My question is I have a factory dual exhaust that has one exhaust pipe on each side of the bumper. The pipes do not have cutouts in the bumper but exit just below the bumper. If I have read The directions correctly it should fit this car I just wanted to confirm that. thank you

Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver with Drawbar # 11117 should work well on your 1997 Chevy Camaro with factory dual exhaust. The only model Camaros it will not fit are the RS models.
I attached the installation instructions for this hitch for you to check out also.
If you plan on using the hitch for a bike rack or a cargo carrier Curt recommends you get a Curt Trailer Hitch Support Strap # 18050 to help provide extra support for the hitch.
