It may be possible to convert the Alko Axle to axle to electric brakes. I did some research and it does look like your hubs are slightly different than the standard hub. In order to figure out which parts you would need to convert the trailer, I would need to know the diameter of the existing brake assemblies. You can figure this out by measuring the inner diameter and depth of the hub.
You would also need a hub-and-drum assembly that is compatible with the spindle of the Alko axle. If you can tell me the axle capacity and the measurements of the spindle using digital calipers like part # PTW80157 from the diagram I have attached I can let you know which hub you need.
You will also need the wiring required to wire the electric brakes which is 10 Gauge Primary Wire - Blue - per Foot part # 10-1-1 with connectors part # DW05744-10. A breakaway kit is also required part like # 34-285.
To control the electric brakes you will also need a brake controller like part # 90195. If you let me know your year, make and model I can recommend the wiring for that if you do not have already have a 7-way connector.
