Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Compatibility for a 2008 Nissan Rogue
Question:
I see a morano listed, but wanted to check if this rack works for a 2008 Nissan Rogue? Thank you!

The Thule OutWay 2 Bike Carrier, # TH45JV, will fit on your 2008 Nissan Rogue as long as you do not have a plastic rear spoiler. The clips will need to be placed in the gap at the top edge and at the bottom of the rear hatch. The lower arm of the carrier should be positioned on the upper tier of the bumper.
A spoiler will not be able to support the weight of the bike carrier and could be damaged. In this case I would recommend a hitch like the Draw-Tite Class III hitch, # 75902, and a hitch mounted bike rack like the Swagman XTC-2 Platform Bike Carrier, # S64670. The XTC-2 is one of our most popular hitch mounted bike racks among our Nissan customers.
If you want to look into the trailer hitch, then I would also recommend getting the Ball Mount Kit, # 989900, and T-One Wiring Harness, # 118480. These items will ensure you are prepared if you ever want to tow a trailer.
I have included installation instructions and demonstration videos for you to check out. The hitch and wiring harness installation videos are on a 2012 and 2009 Nissan Rogue, but the installation process is the same.
