Is 492 foot Range for Older Furrion Camera System or New Vision S System
Question:
You mention that the only difference between the FOS48TAPK-BL and the FOS43TASF is the resolution and the distance of 492 feet but you do not say which one the difference applies to. Can you clarify? Thanks

The better resolution and the 492' of wireless range applies to the newer Furrion Vision S # FOS43TASF system. The older discontinued system FOS48TAPK-BL was meant for up to about 100 ' vehicles and didn't have as great resolution.
Please note that the 492' of wireless range is when there is a clear shot from the monitor to the camera. When you have this installed there will be obstacles in the way (like walls) so that range is reduced, but it will work really well for most systems out there.
I have attached a review video that you can check out for the newer system.
