What Type of Grease Should Be Used To Lube the etrailer Round A-Frame Jack

Question:

I had wanted to see about replacing the #2 grease with high temp synthetic wheel bearing grease (Redline) from new, before installing the new jack onto my very heavy 2007 Arctic Fox 29V with twin deep cell batteries, twin 40 lb. propane tanks, and heavy Hensley Arrow no sway hitch (a must have for Wyoming cross winds). I'll check my Atwood 2,000# mounting and place the order for the new etrailer Trailer Jack - A-Frame Jack - TJA-5000S-B

The etraielr Round A-Frame Jack part # TJA-5000S-B is not very picky when it comes to the grease type so you could use a high-temp wheel bearing grease like the LubriMatic LMX Industrial Strength Grease part # L11390 without issue. The manual for the Bulldog Round A-Frame Jack only calls for a generic automotive type grease which high-temp wheel bearing grease falls under. Please note however you will want to remove as much of the old grease as possible before installing the new grease.
