Will the EX31003005 work with the original solid fold tonneau as a replacement for the rear clamp? I like the locking feature and want to replace my now rear broken clamps with these if it is possible.

I reached out to my contact at Extang and he said that the Replacement Tail Clamp Assembly # EX31003005 is indeed compatible with the original Solid Fold and Trifecta model tonneau covers. This comes with 1 tail clamp assembly.

The driver side latch for the Extang Express is the part #EX1072 that you referenced and the passenger side is part #EX1073. You would want to have latches on both sides of the cover.
