There are a few steps to note when installing the Curt Trailer Hitch, # 11455, on your 2004 Acura TSX. You will not need to modify the exhaust at all, but you will need to lower the exhaust during installation and remove the exhaust heat shields from both sides. You may also need to drill or file the access holes on the vehicle frame so the carriage bolts will fit.
The carriage bolts will need to be fished through the frame using a fishwire tool. Once you have the hitch installed, you will want to reinstall the exhaust heat shields between the hitch and the exhaust. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to check out.
If you plan on doing any towing the hitch does come with a ball mount, hitch pin and clip. For a ball you can use # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch diameter ball or # 19258 for a 2 inch diameter ball. For trailer wiring, use # C59496. I have included a link to the installation details for the wiring as well.
