The EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver part # EH84GR is a nice choice for the 2018 Tesla Model 3 because of it's hidden discreet design. It is nice to have the 2" opening because it is more versatile when it comes to accessories like bike racks. I have attached an installation video for your reference.
As far as the trailer lights are concerned, there is not a plug and play option available but the ZCI Wiring harness part # 119250KIT is an easier alternative to the other hardwired options available. The ZCI features clamps that will clamp onto the vehicle's wiring instead of splicing and cutting into the vehicle's electrical system. The wiring harness gives you a 4-pole connector to power the lights on your trailer. I have attached an installation video for your reference.
