The Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 will fit any vehicle that has a 7-way plug with a power wire to the vehicle's battery and a good ground connection. It is not in the fit guide yet for the 2020 Kia Telluride (August 2019) but you will not have any issues using the Curt Echo brake controller with the Telluride as long as you have an active 7-way plug.
If you do not have a 7-way plug on the Telluride, you will need a 4-pole connector to start with part # CU94FR with an upgrade kit part # ETBC7L. The ETBC7L comes with a 7-way plug that mounts on the rear of the Kia with a bracket. The black wire will need to be extended to the vehicle's battery via a circuit breaker that is included in the kit. The ground needs to be attached to a clean bare metal surface of the vehicle's frame. The 4-way will plug into the pigtail attached of the 7-way plug. The other wires can be tucked away because they are not needed. I have attached a couple of videos for your reference.
