Skid Wheel Recommendation for 27 Foot Travel Trailer
Question:
I have a 27 foot travel trailer does not include length of hitch to truck. When I tried to back from a level street into my steep driveway I tore off a rear stabilizer and was unable to maneuver into my driveway due to the incline. Do I nee 4” or 5” skid mounted wheels and do I also need to add these to an underneath bumper or just to the frame of my camper?

I do have a solution for you but the Ultra-Fab Skid Wheels # UF48-979014 you referenced will not work because they install on an existing 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" square hitch tube on a motorhome.
For your 27 foot travel trailer I recommend going with the Ultra-Fab Skid Wheels for Low-Profile RV's # UF48-979011. These are specifically designed for travel trailers up to 30 feet long and install on the frame like you want to do. The # UF48-979011 does require the included brackets to be welded to your trailer's frame so you can then bolt the casters onto it with hardware which is also included.
