What Size Wheel or Rim Does Karrier ST205/75R14 Trailer Tire Fit

Question:

The current tire on my trailer is 5 wide. Will this tire still fit if its 5.5? It seems like theres plenty of room to the frame but we also will add fenders with side walls I dont imagine that will take much more space between the tire and the frame. The space between the frame and the wheel now is about 1 3/8. And if it doesnt fit can I return the wheels? Thanks!

I am not quite sure if you are asking about the fit of the tire or the wheel, so I'll go over both. The Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range C # AM10234, which is the tire that is on the Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire with 14" White Wheel # AM32153 you referenced, will fit rims rims that are 14" x 5", 14" x 5-1/2", 14" x 6", and 14" x 6-1/2" so if you plan on replacing the tires only then you will need to keep this in mind and know the size of your wheel to determine if this tire will fit.

If you are asking about the fit of the tire with the wheel # AM32153 only, there are a couple things you need to know. The first is your current wheel bolt pattern, as it would need to match with the 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern of this wheel. If you are uncertain what your bolt pattern is, you can refer to the linked help article on how to determine wheel bolt pattern to figure this out.

The other thing to keep in mind is the overall size of this tire and wheel which has a diameter of 26.3" and a width of 8.1" when fully inflated. With trailer tires, the general rule of thumb is you want at least 3" of clearance from the top of the tire to your fender and at least 1" of clearance between the inside of the tire and your trailer's frame rail so you can use these measurements to determine if it will fit.

I have added links to video reviews of the tire as well as the tire and wheel combo for you to check out, as well as a link to our return policy.
