LED Load Resistor for 2016 Land Rover LR4 Towing Trailer with LED Lights

Question:

If your camper trailer has a 7-Way you need part # 20142 but if it has a 4-Way or 5-Way flat connector then use part # TR20141 instead. They both offer the same solution for your 2016 Land Rover LR4 it just depends on what you have on your trailer side.

I'm surprised that the Lamp-Out Sensor # 20142 isn't pulling enough power. Instead of swapping out all of your LEDs for incandescent lights an easier solution is to install load resistors like the Putco # P230004A-2 on your lighting circuits. These essentially do the same thing as changing out your lights to incandescent with the benefits being you don't have to find different lighting for your trailer plus you don't have to go through all of those installations. Simply install these with the quick splices or butt connectors and you are good to go!
