Can I Flat Tow A 2009 Kia Sportage EX Sport
Question:
I have a 29 ft Class C. Would like a tow vehicle that I can tow flat. This vehicle is automatic transmission and is 4 wheel drive. It’s gotten so confusing trying to find a good flat tow vehicle. Thanks for your help. 2009 Kia Sportage EX Sport

I understand that it can be confusing to choose a vehicle to flat tow behind a motor home. I took a look at the owners manual for 2009 Kia Sportage and if the vehicle is 4WD it must be towed with all wheels off the ground on a flat bed. If the Sportage is a 2WD it can only be towed with a tow dolly like Demco Kar Kaddy SS Tow Dolly with Disc Brakes part # DM9713045 with rear wheels on the ground. The most popular vehicles that are flat towed are Jeep Wrangler models. Most vehicles that can be flat towed behind a motor home have a manual transmission or vehicles with a manual transfer case.
