What is the wiring configuration for this jack? 7 pin to tow vehicle or 2 wire to trailer batteries Stromberg Carlson Jack, part # JET-5000

The Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-5000 draws power through it's black wire and then grounds through it's mounting hardware. Normally you run the power wire to the trailer battery and you are set since it grounds through the trailer frame. It draws 25 amps total so if the 12 volt accessory circuit of your 7-way is rated for that (most are) it could run to that circuit directly.
