Just bought a 2014 jayco eagle 314tsbh and wondering what rated hitch I would need for it? Would a 10k 1k tw work?

I looked up your 2014 Jayco Eagle 314TSBH and it has an unloaded tongue weight of 906 lbs so you'd want a higher capacity weight distribution than a 1,000 lb tongue weight setup. Also when it's unloaded the trailer weighs right at 8,000 lbs and can weight up to 10,750 lbs when full loaded so you'd be looking at a tongue weight of most likely around 1,100 lbs or more. Ideally the trailer's tongue weight falls right into the middle of the range of the system.
So for that the Reese Steadi Flex part # RP66561 is a really great option. It has a tongue weight range of 800-1,400 lbs and features a great friction sway control that will fight the sway caused by high winds and passing semis.
For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
