Recommended Trailer Hitch and Load Extender To Carry Kayak On a 2002 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
What do you suggest as a hitch for an extended? Ive damaged my 10 foot kayak with racket straps and now Id like to just put on an extender and strap around that and my kayak. I have a 2002 Tacoma with double cab.

It sounds like you are looking for a load extender so you can safely haul your kayak in the bed of your 2002 Toyota Tacoma. If that is the case then I recommend the Erickson Big Bed Junior Load Extender part # EM07605 with the Pin and Clip part # PC3 because it is cost effective, adjustable for different heights, and has tie down points on either end. If you don't already have a trailer hitch you can use the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13013 which is a custom fit so no drilling is required. I have attached an install video for you below.
