Recommended Weight Distribution System For 10K -12K Food Trailer
Question:
Hello. I need a weight distribution hitch, 10-12,000 lbs max weighttrailer is about 7500 lbs. But I want to be on the safe side, and I also feel like it is a bit heavier on the tongue weight 3inch inch rise. Preferably a system with no frame drilling required. And also a system that allows me to back up and make turns in reserve, without removing the weight distribution hitch arms. This is for my food trailer and we move around all day long. Thank you!

The best weight distribution system we offer is the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System part # EQ37120ET which is rated for up to 1,200 lbs of tongue weight. The reason that the Equal-i-zer is the best is because it has the best sway control on the market and it is the only system with a forged head which means it is very durable. It also comes with everything that you need and it will not require any drilling into the frame. The shank can be flipped to give you the 3" rise you need.
In regards to reversing with the system attached, this can be done but you need to be careful of the angle at which you are reversing at because too sharp an angle can cause damage. That said, there is not a way around this as almost every weight distribution system is going to have this sort of limitation.
