Can Roadmaster EZ-5 Base Plate Kit Work with Blue Ox Tow Bar for 2013 Chevy Equinox

Can I use a blue ox towbar instead of the roadmaster one on this base plate? Is there an adapter. I have a blue ox tow bar and would like to use it instead of having to buy a new Roadmaster one. Thanks

Yes, Blue Ox has the Roadmaster EZ5, MS, and MX Base Plates Adapter Brackets # BX88185 which will work with the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-523160-5 for your 2013 Chevy Equinox.

We also carry the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1689 for your Equinox which eliminates the need for an adapter. The written instructions for both base plate kits have been linked for you to check out.

For a complete flat towing setup you will need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety cables, vehicle tow bar wiring, a supplemental braking system, and possibly a high-low adapter. If you do not have all of these components just let me know and I can make some additional recommendations for you.
