Packing Trailer Hubs of 1989 Ranger Trailer with Broken Off EZ Lube Fittings

Question:

I have a 1989 Ranger Trails trailer that suppose to be equiped with an EZ Lube system but when I removed the little rubber cap on the hub I don`t see a Zerk fitting. How do I grease my bearings without having to take the wheels off? Do I have to purchase Zerk fittings seperately to put into the end of the AXLE myself or is there an adapter to use for this job

Looks like the zerk fitting may have broken off of your spindle which is why it's not present. The good news is that EZ lube spindles typically cause people to blow out grease seals so by packing the hubs by hand you are better off anyway. So basically you aren't missing out by not having the EZ lube setup. If anything you are saving yourself some headache.

Your best solution is once a season repack the bearings by hand with high quality grease like the LMX Red # L11390.

I attached a review video that covers packing bearings for you to check out as well.
