Okay to Switch from 4.80 x 8 to 175/80-13 Tires on 4 on 4 Bolt Pattern Wheel

Looking to change from 4.80 x 8 4 lug to 4 lug 13inch is that ok to do

The 4.80x8 tire you mention, part # AM10002 has about a 16.1 inch diameter. A tire for a 13 inch wheel, such as a 175/80-13 will be about 24 inches in diameter.

If you have a cargo trailer, you'll probably need to replace your fenders, as the existing ones won't provide the necessary 3+ inches of clearance between the top of the tire and the underside of the fender. I've linked you to our fenders for 13 inch wheels.

You'd want to go with a 13 x 4-1/2 inch wheel, if you click the provided link, you can see the tires, wheels and mounted tires we offer in that size.

If you have a small pop-up that has wheel wells instead of fenders, jumping up to that large of a size might not work.
