How to Make Ground Connection When Mounting Kat's Heaters Defrost Fan to Wooden Surface
Question:
The description says only one wire to the power because it is grounded to the mounting brackets! That’s well and good on a metal base but I am wanting to mount it to a wooden cabinet! Now how is it grounded?

The Kat's Heaters Defrost Fan # KH43100 that you referenced does indeed ground via its mounting screws. If you plan on mounting the fan to a wooden surface then you will just need to run a separate ground wire from the bolt using a ring terminal like # 44-5310A to a nearby metal surface or to the negative post on the battery you're using.
