How Many Locking Rings Come with the Power Grip 90-Degree Locking Power Cord w/ Handle
Question:
I was hoping you could clear something up for me. I read the question about the comparison between the photo and the video of the 5572 in regards to the locking rings. The expert said that there were 2 locking rings on the unit. My 50 Amp Rv cord has a locking ring built onto the cord end that plugs into the rv itself. That would be the female end. The female end that I just mentioned with the lock ring built in would supposedly fit onto the male end of the adapter and the 90 degree part would plug on to the rv . The manufacturer of the cord that I have is Furrion. In looking over your website I saw longer cords with the 90 degree part built onto them already. From what I could see these 90 degree ends were the ones that had the lock ring on them that attached and locked onto the rv. The portion of my cord with the lock ring that would plug onto the adapter that is not the 90 degree end has nothing with threads on it for the second lock ring on the adapter to screw on to. It appears to me that what I need is something that only has the lock ring on the 90 portion with the threads being on the other end that my lock ring would screw on to. What am I missing? I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks

It sounds like the Power Grip 90-Degree Locking RV/Marine Power Cord w/ Handle # CAM55572 is exactly what you are needing. It has the lock ring on the 90 degree end and then the threads for a lock ring on the other end (no locking ring). There must have been a design change which is why you are seeing something different. I have attached a photo of what you get when you purchase this item. I went out to the warehouse and confirmed this.
If you are needing something else please reach out with some photos of the connections you are needing and I would be more than happy to help you out!
