Will Malone MPG544 Dual Hitch Adapter Clear Bumper 2015 Honda Odyssey
Question:
Will MPG544 fit the 2015 odyssey? The 8.5 will not clear the bumper. if i need to add an extender to this will it reduce capacity by another 50? I am hauling 14 ft aluminum fishing boat plus two bikes and a 15 ft canoe on a wood rack above it. tonque weight now is probable 50-75 lbs now as I can lift it. may need extender for room for bikes and to be able to make turns without hitting bikes.

The Malone # MPG544 isn't a vehicle specific item. The best way to determine fit is to measure the distance between the pin hole in your hitch and the furthest rearward point of your rear bumper as shown in the help article I've linked for you. When we installed the # 75270 hitch you referenced on a 2015 Odyssey, we found that the hitch pin hole to bumper distance was 6-3/4 inches. The lateral distance between the rear of the top receiver and the center of the hitch pin hole that would secure the adapter to the tow vehicle is 8-5/8 inches.
Using the adapter will indeed lower the towing and tongue weight capacity of the hitch by half. Using an additional extender in conjunction with this one is not recommended, as it would lower the capacity again by an unknown amount which would be unsafe.
