Lippert Electric Jack Will Not Go Up Or Down But Light Works

Question:

Can’t get the jack to go up and down. Light works fine but it seems like the jack is stuck in memory code! How do I undo the memory?

It sounds like your Lippert Electric Jack part # LC285318 has some power because the light is on but it may not have enough power from the battery to go up or down. You do want to double check your connections if you have not done so yet. It is a good idea to make sure the power connection is good and the ground is properly grounded. Remove the extend/retract switch and apply power directly to the retract circuit. If the jack retracts you know the switch is bad and needs to be replaced with a new switch # LC226023. If it doesn't retract then it sounds like the jack was overextended at some point and may not be fixable.
