High Speed Replacement 4.80-12 Replacement Tire and Wheel With 5 on 4-1/2 Bolt Pattern
Question:
I have a 2011 jet-ski/Motorcycle trailer that came stock with 480-12 B Loadstar High speed tires. I need to replace them but don’t see a high speed tire offering any more. Can I do the Kendra 480-12 B and still pull safely at 70-75 mph or switch to the TTWA12SM For piece of mind. The lug pattern is 5 x 4 1/2. I am only using the trailer to haul my dirtbike and harley now as a single rail. Thanks in advance

You could do the Kenda # AM30660 and safely pull at 65 mph. This is our only option for a pre-mounted tire and wheel combo.
I strongly recommend going with a tire with a higher speed rating, but to do this they will not come mounted on the wheel. You would buy them separately and have them mounted at a local shop when they arrive. For your tire, I suggest the Taskmaster 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire 12" load range C # TT48012C because these tires are rated for 81 mph. Then for your wheels you could use the Dexstar Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel - 12" x 4" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 - White Powder Coat # AM20151. There are many other styles or colors of wheels in the 12 inch that you could choose if you like them better. This tire and the wheel of your choice will very much be your best option for the high-speed combo you were wanting.
I have added a link to a video review of this tire and wheel for you to take a look at.
