Is My Tow Package Sufficient for a 2018 Tacoma Off Road to Pull a 2019 Bullet 2200bh?

Question:

I am trying to figure out if my 425 hitch weight trailer is too much when everything factored in. My cargo being 770 lbs, I added 425+77 =502. what about my 113 lbs husky ts and the 40 lbs of propane and the 50 lbs battery? It is a Bullet 2200bh 2019. My truck is a tacoma off road 2018 max tongue 640/ max tw 6400 It looks like the husky weight distribution hitch kill me there! What do you think?

If your Trailer Dry Hitch weight is 425 pounds + cargo 770 pounds at 15%=115 pounds + 40 pounds propane + 50 pounds battery, then 630 pounds would be max tongue weight. Per Husky you wouldn't need to include the hitch weight in the overall tongue weight total.

Based on the information you provided and confirmation from Husky, you are within capacity to tow this trailer. If you want to be absolutely sure your loaded tongue weight is 630 lbs, then I recommend picking up a tongue weight scale like the etrailer scale # e99044.
