Will 14 Inch Tire Fit 13 Inch Wheel
Question:
Can I upgrade to a 14 inch tire or a wider tire and still fit on the rim I have for my 13 tire.

A 14 inch tire such as the Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10234 will require a 14 inch wheel. So if you want to upgrade your tires you will need to upgrade your wheels as well. For example, you could upgrade to the Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 14" White Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 # AM32161 so long as you had the same 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern and clearance for the larger tire.
If you are unsure of your bolt pattern you can use the linked help article I added which tells you how to determine this. In regards to clearance you will want at least 3 inches of space from the top of the trailer tire and at least 1/2 inch between the sidewall and trailer frame.
If you do not want to switch wheels then you will need to keep your 13 inch tires such as the Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range D # AM10210.
I have added links to video reviews for you as well as a link to our entire selection of 13 inch and 14 inch trailer tires and wheels to check out.
