Can a Trunk Mount Bike Rack Be Used While Towing

Is it possible to use one of these bike rack on our Highlander at the same time as we are pulling our Rockwood camper? Is there room? Thank you

Yes, you can install a bike rack such as the Thule Passage 2 Bike Carrier part # TH910XT while pulling a trailer but it would be a good idea to use an extended ball mount in order to ensure there is adequate clearance so you don't run the risk of your bikes hitting the propane tanks or jack. For this, I would need to know how much drop/rise you need (see article) in order to offer a recommendation but I have attached a list of options for you such as the Curt Ball Mount Extra Long part # D-26.
The other option you have which is a bit better in my opinion because you won't need a longer ball mount and nothing attaches to the vehicle is the Jack-It 2 Bike Rack for A-Frame Trailers part # LC429756 which is a very popular way to bring your bikes along with you while you tow.
