Gauge Wire to Use When Wiring Up Brake Assemblies
Question:
Good morning, I have a 1963 camper that I pit your 10inch self adjusting e-brakes on. What gauge wire should I use re-wire the camper brakes? The current wire the previous owner used is house wiring and is total junk. Thank you,

Expert Reply:
10 gauge wire like our part # 10-1-1 (sold by foot) is the correct gauge to use for trailer brake output circuits as it can deliver the amperage needed to activate the brakes properly.
