Trailer Wiring Harness for 2014 BMW 328D

With circuit protection on this, can I make it work for a 2014 328D BMW?

Your 2014 BMW 328D features a combined multiplexed wiring system and a powered module is needed on a trailer harness to accurately read its voltage levels and properly power the trailer lights. The Tekonsha Harness # 119178 that you referenced does feature a converter/module like you mentioned but it's not powered.
For your BMW you will instead need the Tekonsha Wiring Harness # 119250KIT, which includes the powered converter and the necessary wiring and connectors to run it to the vehicle's battery. I have attached a short video review and the installation instructions that you can also look at.
