Does Thule Passage 3 Bike Rack Require Use of Bike Frame Adapter with Kid/Woman Bike

Question:

Waiting to pull the trigger and order the Thule TH911XT. I’m planning on a cable lock but wanted to know if I need a stabilizer bar for a kids and women’s mountain bike as well? Not sure if I need 2 frame adapters for kids and women’s bike. Can I return for free if I don’t need them?

If your plan is to carry womens and kids bikes with the Thule Passage 3 part # TH911XT you will want a bike frame adapter bar like part # UB01 for each of them. Even if it's not totally necessary it will make loading the bikes much easier. Sometimes it is possible to fit kids bikes on hanging racks like this but it ends up being pretty challenging and the adapter bar overall makes the process much easier.
