Replacing Hydraulic Brake Line and 90-Degree Fitting on Trailer

Question:

Im replacing the lines on my trailer and the 90-degree fitting is pretty rusted and beat up looking. I was wondering if I could do away with that fitting and run this line directly to the caliper. If not, is the 90-degree fitting sold separately, and do you guys sell a small 1 foot piece of hose to go between the caliper and the T going to the other wheel?

Expert Reply:

As long as clearance isn't an issue you can certainly do away with the existing 90-degree fitting like what's included with # BH-3MFS90-1-5 and go with a straight fitting right to the caliper instead. We do have a shorter 1 foot brake line available with the Kodiak part # BH-3MFS-1. This flexible rubber line features 3/16 inch brass fittings on each side and the hose itself has a 1/8 inch inner diameter.

I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.
