Are Spacers Needed for the Firestone Air Bags F2445 on a 2015 Toyota Tundra with 1 Inch Lift Block
Question:
I am installing a Firestone air bag suspension on my 2015 Toyota tundra with one inch blocks under leaf springs do I need a spacer for my bags
asked by: Ryan S
Expert Reply:
The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2445 for your 2015 Toyota Tundra will not require the use of spacers if the lift blocks are installed under the leaf springs because the distance between the top and bottom airbag brackets will not change because of this. In the past, Firestone has called for an Axle Bracket Extension like part # F2506 to be used to help support the weight with lifted applications but they have since done further testing and determine this was not needed.
If you will be towing frequently then you are really going to want to pair this system with an air compressor kit for which I recommend the Firestone Air Command I part # F2158.

Ryan S, did you end up needing an axle extension bracket after all? Seems to me that you would.
