Recommended Weight Distribution System for Forest River Rockwood A214HW  

Question:

Towing with a 2005 Toyota Prerunner V6 Max towing - 3500 Reese hitch with 500 max tongue weight The A214HW: GVWR - 3353 Dry Weight - 2651 Dry Hitch Weight - 353 2inch hitch Questions: The propane bracket is welded at the location of the bar brackets, is there a work around? Is the e2 hitch recommended since the A214HW is not shown on the application list.

For your Forest River Rockwood A214HW, I recommend using the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System part # RP66082 with the Chain Hangers for Reese Weight Distribution Systems part # RP58305. I know this will be a bit more than the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System part # FA92-00-0600 that you were looking at but sadly there is no workaround to install the frame brackets if they are located in the same location as the propane tank brackets. That said, the Strait-Line will is much better at reducing trailer sway than the Fastway e2 so it will be an upgrade. The Strait-Line is actually the best on the market in this category.

For a hitch ball you can use the 2" Hitch Ball part # A-90.
