Brake Controller Connection for 2000 Chevy Silverado 2500HD
Question:
electric brake connection i have a 2000 Chevy 2500hd with towing package it was wired with a 5 flat for boat prior to me buying i have located the 2 aditional wires for the 7 blade terminal and wired the 7 blade and im looking for a harness that is sopposed to plug under the dash but the box to the left of the brake isnt like any i can find to wire for the eletric brake all i can get from chevy is its supposed to be there or it wouldnt have the additional wires at bacn of truck can you please help me find what harness i need?

If you are adding a brake controller to your 2000 Chevy Silverado 2500HD like the Tekonsha PowerTrac Electronic Brake Controller # 39523 the necessary wires will be above the spare tire like in the accompanying photo, which is from a help article I linked that explains brake controller installation in your generation of Chevy truck which I strongly recommend reading.
You will then be able to use the Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers # 3025-P to install the PowerTrac.
