Recommendation for an Inexpensive Roof Rack for a 2004 Chevy Malibu Classic
Question:
I have a 2004 Chevy Malibu Classic with no roof rack. I have a Thule weekender that i woold like to use but I am not sure which rack is recommended for my vehicle. I do not have alot of money so i need something that is between $0-$100. Can you give me some recomendations? Thank you.

Custom fit roof racks for a 2004 Chevy Malibu Classic are going to run higher than your current budget but there is another option.
You could use the Darby system, # DTA968. This is a single bar so you would need 2. The strap fits inside the car and holds the bar to the roof. Since this is a universal fit item it would not fit as well as a custom fit rack.
I do recommend going with a custom fit rack, see link, if at all possible. You will get the best fit and performance.
