Air Suspension for 5th Wheel Towing with a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 4X4
Question:
Thanks, also just curious as to why the Firestone kit cannot be used with the 5th wheel hitch. I just had a look under my truck and the mounting brackets for the hitch seem to be far enough away from where the bag would be. Happy 4th of July to you as well!

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2430 are not compatible with an in-bed hitch like what you have for 5th wheel towing with your 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 4X4, but I do have some other air suspension solutions from Air Lift for you.
If you occasionally tow your 5th wheel with your GMC Sierra then you need the kit # AL57204 for a bed shorter than 8' (won't fit with a B&W 5th wheel hitch ) or kit # AL57211 for an 8' bed. If you tow your 5th wheel pretty often then you need kit # AL88204 for bed shorter than 8' (won't fit with B&W 5th wheel hitch) or kit # AL88211 for an 8' bed.
I also recommend adding the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980 so that you can monitor and adjust your air bags on the go so you don't have to hunt down a compressor to do so.
