Is Lock Needed for Lower Hitch Opening of EcoHitch Stealth Hitch
Question:
Can the hitch mount be locked to the vehicle?

While there isn't a locking pin for the lower portion of the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH84GR the good news is this won't be a high-theft item at all for a few reasons. Most people would not assume that it comes off as it appears like a standard hitch, even if they knew it came off they'd have to have the correct size wrench on them to remove it, and even if knew it wouldn't really be of much value to anyone. This is a super specific application which the likelihood of someone needing this exact part would be very slim.
Let's say though that you had a nice bike rack and bikes in the hitch opening and you wanted a way to prevent people from stealing the hitch opening and the rack/bikes. What you could do is run a cable lock like part # e98891 through the bike frames and then to the safety chain loops on the main body of the hitch.
