Does Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow Fit 1999 Ford F-350

Question:

Will this unit work on a 1999 Ford F350? Also, I have a boat trailer that has a flat 5 way connector, and another dual axle trailer with brakes that uses a 7 way plug. I dont know if my year of truck is wired for brakes though.

The Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow 7-, 5- and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector - Vehicle End # HM48470 is a universal hardwire connector so it will fit any vehicle, including your 1999 Ford F-350 but you would not get full functionality of its pins unless you already have a 7-way on your truck so you would need to know that.

If you do not and instead just have the factory 4-way on your '99 F-350 and want to use a 7-way you would first need the Ford Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring Harness, 7-Way (Super Duty) # 118243.

This would work with your trailer that has a 7-way and you would then need Adapter 7 Pole to 5 Pole Flat # A75TB to work on your trailer with a 5 flat.

So basically, it does come down to knowing what connector you currently have on your 1999 F-350, as that will lead you to the correct parts.
