Correct B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch for a 2019 Ford F-250 6-3/4 Bed and Revolution Pin Box
Question:
I have a 2019 F250 4 x 4 with 6-3/4 foot bed and OEM 5th wheel prep package. I currently use a Reese 16K, 5th wheel slider hitch that was given to me. I never use the slider. Im noticing quite a bit of chucking while pulling, so Id like to upgrade. My RV has a Reese Revolution hitch. I called yesterday and one girl told me I needed a BWRVK3500-5W hitch. I looked it up on your web site and it said it was not to be used with the Reese Revolution king pin. I called back and another girl told me to use the BWRVK3300.

The correct B&W Companion for your 2019 Ford F-250 Super Duty with the OEM Prep Package is the part # BWRVK3300. This is noted in our fitguide as a fit for the 8' bed (as we recommend a slider for a short bed) but since the 6-3/4' bed and the 8' bed for a 2019 F-250 have the same footprint for the pucks you can still use this for your application. Just be sure to also use the Custom Wedge # SWW-06 so that your Reese Revolution pin box will be locked out at the jaws. Attached is an installation video and photo of this 5th wheel hitch on a 2018 F-350 that you can reference.
This is a vast improvement to the 16K Reese # RP30047 mainly just because of the jaw system. The chucking that you were experiencing is due to the slide bar jaw of your 5th wheel hitch. The Companion uses dual 1" thick jaws that secure 360 degrees around the king pin for a much more secure attachment.
The B&W Companion # BWRVK3500-5W that was also referenced is only a fit for your Super Duty if you had the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1116 installed.
