Is It Okay To Tow A Small Trailer With a 2014 Ford Fiesta Hatchback
Question:
Hi, Im moving from NY to Florida, and am looking to rent a u haul trailer and hitch it to my car. I do not have any furniture, only boxes. What is the towing capacity? Has anyone had issues in towing with this make/model?

According to the owner's manual for your 2014 Ford Fiesta Hatchback, this vehicle is not approved for trailer towing. That said, there are others who tow with this vehicle and I can understand you needing to get you belongings from New York to Florida so I think you will be okay if you just use your best discretion.
For a trailer hitch, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C110671 which is a custom fit, no drill option and for a trailer wiring harness, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118641. The only other thing you will need is a ball mount/hitch ball, I recommend the Draw-Tite Drawbar part # 3594 with the 1-7/8" Hitch Ball part # 19256 or 2" Hitch Ball part # 19258.
