Mounting 4-Way Connector on 2014 Honda CR-V with Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch
Question:
The 75742 Draw Tite hitch I bought has a flat plate for permanent mounting of my 118561 T One flat 4 wiring harness connector. But, I see no guidance on where and how to run the wiring or how to permanently mount the connector. Any suggestions?

The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118561 is actually designed to simply store inside the rear cargo area of your Honda CR-V when not in use and then pulled out when it's time to tow. The rear hatch will not damage any wiring when closed over it.
This application allows the connector to stay protected from the elements when it's not being used but if you wanted to permanently mount it using the welded-on tab present on the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75742 you would just need to find a grommet that can be used to route the wiring to the exterior of the vehicle. I'm not sure exactly where a suitable one might be located on your CR-V but there's usually one or two around where the spare tire is stored.
Once the connector is routed outside the easiest way to attach it to the weld-on tab is to use the Tow Ready Mounting Bracket # 18144. This includes all the needed hardware. I have attached a short video demonstration that you can check out as well.
